Yes folks it really is big news tonight. Say hello to the newest member of our "family", our brand new Epson 7800 inkjet printer. The 7800 is a state of the art large format printer which will print on a wide vareity of media including board, canvas and self adhesive vinyl to name but three. This printer uses the new Epson Ultrachrome K3 ink set which has no less than three different black inks, namely black, light black and light light black. Don't ask me they just work incredibly well. Large format in this case means 24 inch wide paper that comes in 30 metre rolls and yes it's expensive at about £150 per roll. Changing all eight ink cartridges cost a whisker under £300 (nearly enough to make your eyes water). Sorry you want to see it ? Well here you go
To give you some idea of it's size the white printer at the front is a normal A4 inkjet printer and behind it is an A3+ inkjet and the beast at the back is the 7800.
